My Journey

With over 23 years of entertainment industry experience, I started my career as a Development Assistant for an Emmy Award winning Writer/Producer before transitioning to a Writer's Assistant role on a short-lived television series. After the show wrapped, I spent the next few years freelancing for A-List Producers, Agents, and Managers while fulfilling my general education requirements through Pasadena City College. Upon completing my studies, I accepted a production based role in the Visual Effects department at Universal Pictures, where I obtained a greater understanding of the technical aspects of the storytelling process.

For more than a decade, I worked with some of the industry's most incredible filmmakers before returning to complete a Bachelors of Arts degree in Human Development. Graduating magna cum laude from California State University, East Bay, I decided to make a career change and pursue my love for writing.

Utilizing the storytelling and narrative principles honed throughout years in the film and television business, the foundational knowledge of personality and social development obtained through my studies allows me to offer a comprehensive perspective on all aspects of writing.

From basic services like proofreading and editing, to editorial support ranging from world building to character development, I provide a point of view influenced by a passion for writing and personal life experiences.
